So - you have produced sprouts from flower stalks?
Yes indeed, this is my first time propagating. The one sprouting the most traps is the flower stalk where the flowers divided into more flowers. They sprouted little red balls then the leaves n traps grew.

Update all from propagating leaf pulling or flower stalks. Red dragon clones from JoelsCarnivorousPlants, with some typical from flower stock flowers from Walmart, sd kronos back to life and my dente is making a recovery. Any tips are welcome.

You are pretty accomplished, I'd say. Those look great. My favorite trick when propagating vfts is to peel the living bases of the dead leaves from the rhizome and propagate from them. They always seem very willing to sprout new plantlets.

I'm doing that with 2 vfts leafs and it's working. I need to see if it works with my sundews

I also did some leaf pulling with a red dragon clone and a big mouth trap. The flower stalks came from a typical from Walmart that died.
Flower stalks and dead leaf pullings came to life. There's a half dead red dragon rhizome still trying to come pack to life roots growing and healthy just no traps yet. And before it almost died I took 3 leaf pullings and all three are doing great.

Have you ever noticed a very small red/brown looking ball take shape on the flower stocks then start to sprout new traps and take root as well? I thought they were mite eggs. I haven't seen it on leaf pullings yet. Thought it might be something interesting involved.

I've never seen those before, but I've never done propagation from flower stalks. It is a good idea - especially if you don't want flowers/seeds.

It's very easy if you start off with stagnate moss and good light. A very clear plastic container top and bottom makes it grow fast. I recommend cutting it 2 inches long and letting the flower start to bloom then cutting it from there. From the stem to where the flowers start to divide cut an inch below and right under the flower itself. Their bigger and more traps. But the start off as little red nodes then sprout leaves then traps right after, really amazing. Most of my original traps died from to much or little attention. Thankfully I did a lot of propagating and they are still alive and growing bigger. Might even have triple the amount by the time there fully grown.

A little update red dragon propagation coming to life, a few struggles. Flower stalks typicals growing fast as well. And the big mouth growing big as well. My dente growing it's own little cluster of traps on it's own.

Do you find that they propagate better in long fiber sphagnum moss than in peat mix?
10 x better, most of my older vfts outside started dying in the peat or where to damp. The long fiber is great for in and Outdoor growth perfect if u keep it moist.
