Powdery mildew

i picked up a beautiful little African violet a few weeks ago that has since been taken over by powdery mildew, killing off all the flowers

any idea what i can use to get rid of it? i know violets are sensitive to water on their leaves and i generally prefer not to use strong chemicals (but i will if i have to). also, will this spread to my other plants? i have a few succulents and some Drosera seedlings nearby (not touching any of them).
