Lowii and crosses are waaaaaay cool. They have spikey lower pitchers, and gaping upper ones! Plus I like the general shape and pertisome and pitcher colour.
Mass, seeing as veitchii does not have a prehensile tendril, nor does it form true uppers, you can assume that when you cross it with a species which does do this, that the occasional tendril will not be prehensile, while others may be.
Here is my entry. My Nep. hamata clone 1. At just 6 months it makes the terms. Not a winner but I'm proud of it, and hope it grows up to be a plant to be reckoned with. I like the color in the new leaf. Not it's biggest pitcher it's grown for me, but it is just starting to take off for me now that I have it in stable conditions.
