Polinating x tina?

Would this work or the flowers aren't viable? I tried the toothpick in the 1st flower one of them had but no success... The reason I'm trying to polinate is that want to try pinguicula from seed ;)

It is fertile so you should be able to get seed if you are successful in the procedure.

Oh and BTW, it is a cultivar so it should be 'Tina' and not x tina. :)

Also, shouldn't the babies not be called P. 'Tina' because they were not produced via leaf cuttings? That would mean that the babies aren't actually the cultivar 'Tina' anymore.

Not having any skill with hand pollinating, I find that sprouting new plants from leaves to be the most effective way of propogation.

If the seed grown plants match the cultuvar description, they can be called P. 'Tina'. They can also be called P. 'Tina' F2 or by whatever the cross is that produced P. 'Tina' orginally.
