I have heard a few complaints about begging via PM's.  

Let's try and keep the forum relaxed and enjoyable - if someone posts an offer, but you get there too late, better luck next time.  Please don't send them a message asking them if they could scrounge for maybe one more.  

Please also don't scan grow lists and then ask for something you like - not unless you have something comperable to offer in trade, at least.

Patience is a virtue, folks! (especially for Doctors)

Edit:
Might I add, that if you do receive a rude e-mail with a.....er....overly strong request for one of your plants, or repeated e-mails (badgering, if you will), please PM a mod and he or she will address the individual.

I couldn't agree more Schloaty. It is for this reason some of us will never post a grow list or photos of our collection. I still get the annoying random request...ahem...DEMAND for pieces of my plants.
