1. Only ONE (1) PITCHER per member may be entered in any particular month.
2. All pictures must be taken in the month of entry into the contest.
3. All entries must be clearly identified.
4. Entries are restricted to cultivated plants.
5. Contestants may post as many times and as many pictures of their entry as they like until contest closing at the end of the month 12/31/20.
6. Sequential pictures showing opening of a pitcher are fine as long as all pictures are taken within the month of the contest.
7. If, for some reason, a single pitcher cannot be isolated and a group shot is necessary, then the particular pitcher entered must be clearly identified in your post.
8. Plant must have been grown by owner at least six months prior to photo.
9. Times of Contest and Poll openings and closings are to be understood as EST.
10. Judging by forum members and guests in a poll opening on 01/01/21, closing 01/05/21 and using this forum! Voting will open on top of the thread at the close of the contest submissions.

** Please remember to clearly identify your entry!!**

Contest will be closed on December 31st 2020 at 5:00PM EST.

Good luck!!

Still working out the exact parentage on this plant which was purchased as an unlabeled rhyzome. Closest I can find is Sarracenia "Golden Eagle". I didn't see any other entries so let's hope this gets it going.

Nice Sarracenia Murrkywaters. I kind of think this contest should only be for Nepenthes and you should enter your plant in the general Photo contest thread. But I could be all wrong.

Are you growing your plants indoors? No dormancy?

Idk it popped up in the app, I did not see a parent category. It's still regularly in the 60's and 70's during the day. I have it on a greatly reduced photo period, which it will remain on for the next three to four months. It's in an unheated space so it gets the night time drops, with any luck it will get the hint. I didn't start until this month because the coldest temperatures will start mid January.

I'm a dinosaur, I use a desktop to view forums. I don't even own a smartphone. You submitted a photo of a Utricularia trap in the general contest thread for November. Here is a link to the thread for the December photo contest: Plant of the Month December 2020

What state are you living in for it not to get cold till January? It is supposed to get down to 24F here tonight. I bury my plants in a big pile of leaves for winter. I need to do that ASAP. Hopefully Saturday.

I live in the mojave desert in Southern nevada

Yup, this contest is for Nep pitchers (in the Neps subforum) so your Sarra should go into Plant of the Month contest instead.

Cool
