Ping Reproduction

My ping started new plants at the tips of its leaves... New little clusters, I'm guessing they drop roots out the bottom? Is this unusual or pretty common?

assuming you have P. primuliflora. then yes its normal. dont divide them though unless they get about as big as a nickle or bigger.

Yes, it's pretty common. Pings are easily propagated through leaf cuttings, which yield similar results to what you are talking about.

xvart.

This is P. primuliflora and I wouldn't attempt severing the plantlets at all, unless you have to. They become independent on their own.

These are Mexican butterwort leaf cuttings. That's the best way to propogate them.
