A little beer, some fries, throw in some carnivorous plants and pleasant conversation...a nice way to kill a Sunday afternoon with fellow CP growers!

I'm jealous! And that is a mighty impressive beard Mato!
Where are the pictures of the plant guests? Haha

whoa.. mat is full blown bushy already. Just shaved my beard completely off.
Looks like I missed out on some good times. Again.

Sounds like the perfect afternoon meeting. Very nice tradition that seems to be forming.

It was a fun time, guys. It's always nice to talk plants and unload some stuff at these sorts of meetings. Next time we expect to see even more faces.

I'll go to the bar in town with some plants and the iPad.
We can skype me to the meeting.
Drinks all around!

Now THAT is an interesting idea. I would telecommute to an event like this, when getting to PDX isn't possible.

By the way, did the basket-of-Sarracenia come with the fries and burger, or the other way 'round?! ;-)

thanks. it just hit me.. we could join meetings together anytime.
Granted someone would need to have a laptop or something..

If a couple of people had iPhones with them, it would be easy to telecommute to a meet-up. iPads are even better, as long as there's wifi at the bar.....and what bar doesn't offer wifi these days!?

Although it was fun while it lasted, after seeing this picture I decided to trim the beard back. It's a little less amish while retaining that beard demeanor.

Dude, there is no such thing as "too much beard"! You just hit that "awkward phase".....something you have to wait out to get to the good stuff!

haha! I had a feeling you'd be the first to respond, Paul. I was only going to trim it back a fraction of an inch, but I chose the wrong blade length on my shears and it's pretty short again. I only started it in late June, though, so it won't take long to get back to that point.
