good lawdy is correct. wow Butch! beautiful shot. makes me cry---sure not because of its beauty, but because my plants pale in comparison to yours. :lol: i mean, :cry:

thought this would be a cool series-- not making any scientific hypothesis, but it's cool to imagine a leaf metamorphosizing into a "final" form. any who, enjoy:

thanks peat. that's exactly what i was going for. maybe will include others, but they're all in the juvenile/crappy awkward puberty phase right now. :lol:

Fun shots! The ping reminds me of Drosera erythrorhiza ssp. squamosa, and that's a good thing.
 
Crazy amounts of 'dew!! :drool:

I tried using a soft box today. I'm very happy with the results, except for that on shadow on the top leaf.
