photo type of sphagnum moss

Hy guys!i found the photo sphagnum moss and particulary variety..for exsample red sphagnum and more..thank you guys!

Since you need a microscope to identify some of the characteristics that define the species of Sphagnum moss I doubt you'll find anything very helpful.

You can always try a Google image source on each species but I doubt you'll find anything for 99% of them. I have no idea of how complete or up-to-date these lists are. The number of known species varies depending on which taxonomist you talk to.

know someone who is able to provide varieties of moss?

Several years ago http://www.moutere.com/ was able to supply me with live samples of the NZ species.

But back in 2005 the NZ phytosanitary certificate (and fees for getting it) was $75USD IIRC

My fav for Cp use is a variant of a non NZ Sphagnum squarrosum species (my "Super Fluffy")
