hahaha thats happened to my pings before, its fine i think, im no ping expert....i think its probably lighting...im not sure about #13 since i dont know the origin.
Have the conditions just changed for this Ping? Leaf shape changes with conditions (especially light) and with time of year. They will get smaller approaching 'winter foliage'.
Can't see any pests from your photo.
Aerial roots are common with Mexican pings. They tend to go all over the place - I haven't yet worked out what they are looking for!
