I hope I didnt confuse you. Note, I didnt say that the plant was a P. ehlersiae. I said the plant belongs to the P. ehlersiae section. It also inlcudes P. esseriana, P. jaumavensis, P. debbertiana.

Based on the photo, I consider the plant looks more like it belongs to the P. ehlersiae section of Pings. It could also be a hybrid. Photos of the whole plant, the winter leaves and ideally a flower will be needed to give the plant a name.

Unfortunately, we will all have to be patient and wait for a flower! As I said earlier, great photo and colours in the plant.

Entwa,

ummm a 90$ point and shoot refurbished canon :)
Canon refurb A-590 (90$) and an opteka HD 10x macro lens (about 30$)... then add a cheap wally world tripod (15ish)
But I have to be honest, it makes you drool over the skill and hardware that some of our members have

butttttttttt for less then 150, its a lot of bang for the buck IMHO

Thanks Matt :)

Your equipment catches all the fine details, the sharpness, the tiny little hairs, the curves . . . almost kinda pornographic

Good Shootin and Good Growing To Ya,
