Overbuilding a Betta Tank

Crystal red shrimp are much more delicate than you think. They need to be kept at a very specific ph. As for the killifish, if it's a male, the betta will kill it when it gets its color, believing it to be another male betta.

Your betta would probably enjoy a marimo. They've been known to lounge on them like bean bag chairs.
