Orchid hunter programme

Last night (Monday) there was a fascinating documentary on Channel four in the UK about a crazed orchid hunter and his search for a new speicies to name after his equaly orchid mad Grandmother. Did anyone else catch it?

Wish I could have seen it. I'll bet it was interesting. Maybe the Discovery Channel here will show it one day.

lol...didn't catch it, but I'll be on the watch. Did he discover a new orchid species, though?

I saw it - it was really good.

He brought a few orchids back from his trip in the hopes that they were new, but unfortunately for him they'd already been discovered.
