it was the first time this happened to me. I got this N. x ventrata on christmas and one of its new leaves had an enviromental mutation. So here are some pics.

No way, I've heard that that is actually rare, but still! I got my Ventrata from the same place you got it (Exact same pot)!
 
I don't really no terms. Thats why I called it an enviromental mutation.
 
Mr. Fus, it is only one leaf. I think it was caused by the sudden change from a greenhouse to a window sil.
 
Ok...

I think the term "aberration" sound to hard , I will better say developmental abnormality!

As a personal opinion will be really amazing and atractive to have a true nephentes mutant that produce two tendrils per petiole and develop a pitcher on each one...
 
Cool :0. Will look infinitely more cool if both pitchers develop.

Keep us posted if they decide to.
