Here is an update. From what I've seen I have to agree these will only look better with age.

Wow, that's really nice! I have a Veitchii 'Pink' Inflating it's first pitcher. Can't wait to see it. Unfortunately, it's not supposed to have such a striped peristome.
There are colorful lowland veitchiis too - or you can get one of those hl by ll crosses too. These are supposedly highland, but they grow superbly well in intermediate conditions.
