I got suckered into getting another orchid from a sad grocery.
The flowers really did me in on this one.

PS- Anyone know what the black spots are?
Should I be worried about viruses and introducing it to my other orchids

I know little of the black spots although a few of my orchids have it. It poses no danger to the plant but is not very attractive. I think a bit of copper or other fungicide spray might work just following the directions. New growth should not display the spots. It is possible it may spread by splashing water, but I would not be very worried. Anyway, enjoy your beautiful new orchid!

I recently fell for this one as well. What is it about those flowers?

For me, it was that vibrant black and green striping.
Just blew my socks clean off, right there in the store

Keep an eye out if you go on a grocery run.
I had previously never seen this variety before,
But they seem to be popping up here and there this month.
Not sure if this is a new release, or if the nurserys are bringing them back,
But they could show up
