So at what point do ramispinas get the black peristome? Mines a few years old, but barely growing, but its pitchers are still dark brown with a green peristome, which never darken. What attracted me to it was the contrast of the black peristome to the nearly white interior. Bah..

I find this species to be frustrating. It came in good condition from the nursery and made fine pitchers. But then, a year ago it went downhill and is still stunted.
