New Homemade Terrarium

Over the weekend I ordered some PVC and Acrylic from a local plastics manufacturing place downtown, and made this terrarium for som smaller plants and life moss. I was wondering for those of you who keep live sphagnum in between your plant pots, how much water should be sitting in the bottom? I don't want to completely drown out the moss, but I still want enough for the plants. Also any other advice would be appreciated
Thanks
