NO

IF you happen to have a screw in fixture you can use one of those screw in fluorescent bulbs although the long straight tubes are preferable as they spread the light more evenly.

John, save yourself the hassle and just go get a flurescent fixture. Don't even think about incandescents. They are

<span style='font-size:17pt;line-height:100%'> BAD BAD BAD</span>

Hope that clears stuff up.
