Nepenthes seeds for SASE: splendiana x ("thorelii" x alata Kondo)

I have 2 packets of freshly harvested Nepenthes seeds for SASE: N. splendiana x ("thorelii" x alata Kondo). Not going to be a stunning hybrid by any stretch, but if you're new to growing Nepenthes from seed or are just looking for an easy windowsill plant, then these are for you. Both parents perform very well under household conditions, and I expect the progeny will as well.

If there is sufficient interest (>2 people), I'll do a random drawing on Sunday, 2015-3-1. USA only, please.

You know the drill -- please add your name to the list (not limited) below :)

Nicholas,

It looks like the list will get long. If you have extra seeds beyond these, and still have an interest in cool-growing Passifloras, I could trade for seeds or cuttings (and take my name off the list...). Right now I have as seeds: P. antioquiensis, P. pinnatistipula, P. membranacea (variegated). As cuttings: P. 'Mission Dolores', P. luzmarina, P. tarminiana Alba, P. membranacaea (Strybing clone and variegated), P. 'Donna Brigham', P. 'Oaklandia' (the heat tolerant P. manicata hybrid that grows and blooms in Florida). As seedlings: P. membranacea (variegated), P. antioquiensis (I think I have something). I probably have others that I'm forgetting. The seedlings may or may not be equal trades and we could figure something out.

I realize this may be the "wrong" time of the year for these, and that can also be worked around.

Message me if interested.

Randy

Looks like there will be plenty of interest, and for those putting your names down, x splendiana hybrids are great lookers!
Mikulas, if you go for any trades, the P. pinnatistipula seeds I can vouch for being viable: I have 2 sprouts already.

Thanks for the info hcarlton, those are new seeds (from a dried fruit from Rick McCain's plant) and I never trust Passiflora seeds unit I see actual germination. Nicholas, I also have P. parritae, a seedling from Strybing, although it has been set back by my aggressive attempts at layering. Probably that plant will be fine for cuttings come Fall, or I can probably also ask Carlos R. to sell me another.

Thanks, everyone for your interest. Random.org says the winners are #s 5 & 6, Pearldiver and SgtSarracenia. I'll PM you two with the SASE address shortly. Once I receive the SASEs, I will ship out as soon as weather permits (day temps in the 40s or higher), and will let you know the day they go out.

Given the interest in this thread, I hope to do an additional giveaway in late summer/early fall.
