Has anyone tried a sugar presoak before nepenthes seed sterilization to get the bad guy contaminants to start growing making them easier to kill? Back in the oldendays when I was flasking orchid seeds dirty seeds (where the pod had split before harvesting) were always given a 12 hour presoak in sugar water prior to sterilization which reduced the flask contamination when the seeds were sown.
