In his defense, I do plants trial by fire too. Some plants that are supposedly ultraLL (the Seychelles get HOT) end up growing great as intermediate in cultivation (N.pervillei). Sometimes you just gotta take the leap. You end up benefiting the community by doing so by trading out 'rare' plants to people who might have otherwise not been able to afford them if it doesn't work out; and if you succeed, adding new growing conditions that open it up to other growers.
