Mystery N. merrilliana hybrids (sold as N.'Hopeful Monsters' by a certain Nepenthes nursery in Hawaii) have been around for several years now. I am a huge fan of N. merrilliana crosses, so if anyone has pics, I would be very curious to see how they are turning out!
From talking with the nursery owner, I found out that N. "Hopeful Monsters" is not a single cross. There have been several "batches" of N. "Hopeful Monsters" with different parentage, so they should turn out very different!
From the plants I have seen, there are a few that are very likely N. merrilliana x mirabilis "winged" (they have the characteristic winged tendril and everything), the others I've seen were too small to tell.
