Hi I just bought a N. Sanguinea from Andy and I was wondering if 5 hours of bright morning sun and 10 hours of shadish-bright light was good enough? And if I go away on vacation for 8 days can I leave a saucer of water under the Sanguinea?
yeah just leave it wherever you are going to grow it don't move it outside and then bring it inside at night. Nepenthes sanguinea is a very easy species to grow and will grow in a wide range of temperature.
Although during winter with lower light levels and all I do recommend that you hang some fluorescent lights over it about 3-6" above the plant.
