N. maxima hybrid Flowering NOW! Need Pollen!

Hey guys this monster has 3 female flower stalks already opening the bottom most flowers so I need pollen ASAP! PM me with your pollen donors! 50/50 seed split

I do not know where this plant originated or what its true parentage is, so please don't ask. It likely has some N. alata in it as well as maxima, and possibly kampotiana, smilesii, or bokorensis. There is a separate thread somewhere else trying to find an ID for this and no it's not pure N. xSplendiana or 'Splendid Diana'

Some photos I took today of the plant

All offers welcome!

I have plenty of N. ventricosa "red" pollen available, if you have any interest.....

I would like some but that won't even cover one of the 3 flower stalks. Any other offers?

I have a maxima male who is flowering now. It is the first of my nepenthes to flower. Would love to send you.
PM me and we can sort out the details :)

My mastersiana has flowers opening so in a week or two I can send pollen

i'm in the US and I don't have import or export permits, sorry kevnep

i have a Judith finn thats in flower, the flowers are not that big but they are just opening now. I have seen some growers tie a single thread to each flower to color code and mark what ones they pollenated with certain dif. plants

To legal import pollen into the US a Phytosanitary Certificate is needed. The last time I checked (a couple years ago) they cost around $40 USD in South Africa. All plants including seeds and tubers, plant parts including pollen for planting or propagation require a phytosanitary certificate to enter the US. Small seed lots (less than 50 seeds or 10 grams of each taxon sent, no more than 50 taxa) do not require a phytosanitary certificate if the importer has a small seed lot permit and the paperwork is included in the shipment.

There is no exception for hobby or craft materials. Plant material sent as hobby and craft material must be treated or processed so that it is inert and cannot harbor pests. Any vendor who tells you that live plant materials can be sent without permits or phytosanitary certificates is full of crap. They probably only do so because they are too cheap to get the certificates or they can't pass the inspection to get the certificates (e.g. plants not artificially propagated).

Remember the trading post rules - keep it legal.

I can likely summon some pollen from EP's good old N. thorelii X aristolochioides if you want that.

I'll second that.

Hey guys so its about two weeks after pollination on the three flower stalks that I posted about in this thread and all the pollinated flowers are nice and swollen. I went to check on the plant today and it has sent up 9 more flower stalks! So if you have pollen available I would love to do a 50/50 seed split with you!
