@mass, its just sand and a little peat from repotting, i just cleaned it off

its called a Wardian case, Eventually i'm going to replace the T12s in the lid with HO T5s, CFLs, and HPS lights.

i looked up wardian cases and apparently different companies throw that term on their products. the products vary in size shape and material.

hmm well this one Nepguy built himself. He said he got the glass from a yard sale where they had old glass from a large glass door and he used that. The wood is cypress.

maybe ill get brave enough to make one out of plexiglass. i have never worked with glass or acrylic .

regardless, i enjoyed seeing yours and brainstorming
