Hey gang, just thought I'd brighten up the late winter with some promising pictures of a fairly hard to grow plant!

I'm digging that colouration!

CPFreak:

Light: Full sun year round with minimal shading (winter sun now however)
Soil: about a 50/40/10 mix of perlite/peat/sphagnum moss. very well drained, yet moisture retentive.
Temp: high 40's at night (ultrahighland climate) 70-80's in the day.
Humidity: High all the time
Moisture level: top watered daily but allowed to drain completely

Est: Thanks! I just noticed that the pitchers are also looking very promising too!

OK thx a lot. Ill try to do that with my plants except the 40 at nite parts. I cant do that with my other plants in there. I love ur coloration. SO cool. Thanks!

The high 40's at night are not needed. It is ideal for a Cephalotus due to the fact they are a "highland" plant almost. They are tolerant of light frost and mine has been growing wonderfully in the conditions I provide.

OK so do u think 77or so in the day and 70 at nite is a good enuf drop?

Thats a 7 degree drop in temperature. I think it should be fine. Cooler conditions really benefit the plant, but that sounds fine, fairly mild.
