My Bonsai Pepper Attempt

So at the end of this pepper growing season I cut back 5 different pepper plants to attempt to use as bonsai material.
After about a month, the Filius Blue plant has already shot out a lot of new growth, so I went ahead and transplanted it into a salvaged container.
About 30 minutes of work went into trimming and wiring so far, gonna give it some time to settle in before I do anything else.
Any advice or comment is greatly appreciated as always! Hopefully this one will teach me a few things for the other ones waiting to be used!

It seems interesting growing stuff like that into a bonsi, although I'm betting it would be best to bonsai from a seedling.

Considering the time it takes trees to reach that size, this pepper is a seedling still.

dont expect it to look like what we think a bonsai looks like any time soon, this is something that takes a lifetime and some many lifetimes to get to what they are known for. For every transplant cut a little less than half the roots off, and for the amount of roots taken you can take that much top growth as well. Every time you cut a growth point it will double itself. I wouldnt worry too much about wiring now. Shouldnt be necessary for another year or two.

Bonchi plants can surprisingly look like mature bonsai specimens in as little as two years.

Dog, i actually used that guide for most of my info! Combined with some standard bonsai videos, and i arrived at this!
