those are junk. Meant for the dashboard in your car..
Can't handle the high humidity that comes with CP enclosures. Only takes an hour or two in high humidity before pooping out..

When picking out digital hygro/thermo meters, make sure to get an outdoor one. Or one with a seperate sensor. Otherwise the humidity causes internal moisture damage.

I have one that is more expensive and still sucks. If you want an accurate reading, but an expensive thermostat... Otherwise, your best option is to put an aquarium thermometer in the terrarium or GH, they're very accurate...

You were half right..
I have 2 identical hygrometer/thermometer aquarium meters in the GH, and when side by side they read different humidity levels. somewhat accurate..
It is still your best option otherwise though.
