no--your plant is alive. fuse tooth is probably an unstable mutation anyways. much like the pompom vft.
 
That's a shame as it was one of the better cultivations

Many of the "toothed" flytraps produce normal cilia (teeth) early in the growing season and their signature teeth later in the summer.

We've had a very mild spring and summer so far in Los Angeles and a lot of my flytraps are only now starting to pick up growth.
 
i guess i should retract my earlier statement then :p
 
So "Not A Number" do you think that it's going to return back to a fused later in the season?

That's usually the case. If you have a mild summer it may take longer.
