Little advise from seed on PARROT PITCHER 'sarracenia psittacina'

Hi all

Can I ask a really silly question, when can you sow these plants...

Can you germinate them like in the VFT in just water to get them going ?

Many thanks Noddy

you need to stratify them in the fridge for around 6 weeks.
damp paper towel in a plastic bag is easiest.
After that just sow them on the media of your choice, best if its something like
peat/sand
peat/perlite
lfs/peat/sand or anything along those lines.

Great

And in the winter months...? what happens, best care to look after please

Thanks Noddy

Wow 5 years...

That's a while for a baby plant hey...

Going to try the indoor method .... wet tissue in a bag... and watch ... 3 weeks they think and then they can go 2 year stretch so I think I'll give them a year then shut them down...
