Just ordered a dormant Drosera Filiformis. What do I do with it?

Agent of Chaos
I just ordered a dormant Drosera Filiformis. It's currently in a resting bud and I shall expect growth in a few months.

However, what exactly do I do with the bud? Should I keep the soil somewhat dry and in a shaded spot? I'm worried that if it's too warm, it'll rot.

Too wet conditions is what normally causes crown rot on these. What variety is it, filiformis or tracyi? It should be able to tolerate full sun while dormant. Just keep the medium damp until it is fully growing.

It's Filiformis spp Filiformis. However, I live outside Tampa Florida so my conditions are really warm. It's mostly in the 70s here, occasionally spiking higher or lower.

They're native to the panhandle, grow them indoors if you keep it air conditioned

Looking at the weather for in the Panhandle I see temps in the 70's

In the native range of Drosera filiformis:

I've gotten a massive clump of Drosera filiformis var tracyi from Dyflam in Florida which he grows outdoors. I don't recall where he is but Tampa sounds right.
