"What in the world" is the berries/seed of the Arisaema trifolium (Jack in the Pulpit) you photographed and wondered about earlier this year. You can collect the seed and scatter in your yard, Arisaema establish well in cool, moist and shady conditions, my uncle had them in several locations in his yard before he moved.
Nice pics. The frog hitchhiker pic made me laugh out loud for some reason. He looks so pissed off that he's being photographed. Cool walking stick too.
