Jim: Are you growing yours in pure LFS? I've been thinking of changing my media... it's in nearly pure peat.

D. kenneallyi X ordensis

I really hate that I can't grow these guys outside. Too cold part of the year. i did have some hybrid paradoxa seedlings sprout outside and have grown up into small plants. maybe can select for cold tolerance......

Photos don't do it justice. It recently divided, at least two maybe three points now:

Planted in "Pyro" mix (recipe from him): Sand/perlite/chopped LFS/peat 2/1/1/1 pine bark mulch can be substituted for LFS

Clue, I grow mine in a 3:1 coarse sand to peat mix. They sit in a shallow dish and I refill a few days after the water has evaporated, if I notice.

Great looking falcs guys! Keep 'em coming, I luv 'em all.
