pappydew

I hate bugs. Carnivorous plants get me.
Well, since nothing's in a terrarium anymore my other pic thread doesn't really fit.

How do you grow your Pings? Mine looks pathetic.

  • #11
All are under a t5HO light (2x24w), maybe 5-6" away. Watered by tray method although I just started to let the water dry out first before refilling as Istartedgetting some algae so I figured it might be too moist. All in some form of a sand and peat mix, usually on the sandier side of 50/50.

Very nice!

Nice! I believe the Utric flower is U. livida.

  • #15
Looking great, Pappydew!

  • #17
D. nidiformis has a glandular scape?

  • #18
Apparently. Much more than I am seeing on the capillaris, which is also just done flowering. nitidula x pulchella showing glands too on the flower scape...

  • #19
what is the ping in the top picture in number 3,and where can I get one?

  • #20
I think it's P. esseriana but I can't get a 100% ID becuase it hasn't flowered yet. I got mine from another forum member...not super uncommon, I'm sure you could find some.
