Jewel Orchid help

Any one have any of these i just received 15 of them an need too get a bit more help my Grandma said "oh just throw them in a pot if they grow they grow if they dont they dont" ....lol
Problem is I want them to grow I have looked them up on google an all i seem to find is they love shade an they are easy to grow .

Any Help ?

I've never grown them either. Which ones do you have, Ludisia discolor? You might have an easier time finding info if you have a specific name. But I think they like similar conditions.

i Think Thet are rattle snake or something like that

prolly "rattlesnake plantain" which would be the genus Goodyera if its like the other jewel orchids put them in potting soil and treat them as a house plant.....bout as simple as growing orchids gets....

never have grown one but it looks like one of the Goodyera species to me.....

Those do look like Goodyera and might be Goodyera pubescens - http://www.ct-botanical-society.org/galleries/goodyerapube.html. Those are native across a lot of the eastern US, maybe even into KS.
