loving pretty in pink and pink cheeks. hcw 'e' is a great clone also. have pics of your blood moon?

  • #53
Cody - Blood Moon hasn't been doing much as of yet but I'll have pics up of its flower and pitchers when they come up.

Some mid-March updates! Spring weather didn't really hit til last week so the Sarracenia flower buds are just starting to peek out now. Currently have 13 flower buds I can see but hoping for more to shoot up in the next couple weeks. I took some pics of a couple of the buds:

Wow, ya got the good stuff there. Curious of what you're going to cross your Leah Wilkerson with? Nice job with the Hamata, looks like its loving you. :)

  • #55
TOG - Thanks! Not sure yet, I may cross it with my Blood Moon, that would be a nice cross. But that would be just crossing one moorei with another really, so I dunno. Also might cross it with my catesbaei. I'm open to suggestions :D I could also lend you some pollen if you wanna cross it with one of your plants. I posted on your terrarium thread yesterday about maybe swapping pollen.

  • #56
So much diversity in Moorei, my favorite cross. Sorry bout not replying on my thread, but yeah, I'd love some Rubricorpora pollen if you get yours to flower. Thanks! Swapping pollen sounds like a good idea, I'd love to add some Leah Wilkerson goodness into the flowers. I have an Excellens and Purp x Flava Ornata that should be opening within a few days, would you like any?

  • #57
Sure, I'll keep you posted about my rubricorpora, but nothing yet... I actually have both excellens and a purp x flava flowering! I would be interested in Night Sky pollen if you have any left since mine doesn't seem to want to flower this year... I'd love to cross Night Sky with Leah Wilkerson and we could split seed 50/50 of that cross. If you're interested in any other pollen, here's everything else of mine that I've noticed a flower from so far that you don't already have.... just let me know!

S. moorei - Santa Rosa Co, FL - I've got two flower buds coming up from this one

Yeah, you can totally have the Night Sky pollen, should be ready in about 3 weeks or so. I'd be interested in Blood Moon and FD x BGB. I did notice some more flowers that I didn't have in my vid, here's the complete list as of today.

Minor
Excellens
Purp x Flava Ornata
Lueco HCW
Rubra Jonesii
Night Sky

  • #59
That's fine, my buds will probably take a bit to develop too, especially Blood Moon which i just noticed the bud of today. I'll be sure to let you know when I collect the pollen. Not sure what FD x BGB is, but I presume you mean the Flies Demise x Wilkerson's Red which I can send your way as well. And I think just Night Sky is good with me.

  • #60
Yes, I did mean that. By BGB, I meant Buds Golden Boy although I have no idea where I got that. LOL! You didnt even list it, must've been thinking of it while typing.
