Is this possible: DVD audio to audio CD?

I'm wondering if anyone knows how I might go about this little idea of mine...

I have some great DVD movies of William Burroughs talking but I wanna be able to hear it in the car while I'm driving. Anyone know how I might dub the audio off and get them onto CD-Rs?

I have Nero, VLC media and the Win media player.

Use a DVD to WAV ripper. Then edit and burn the WAVs to CD using Nero. Try Google

VirtualDubMpeg
with the AC3 plug-in should work, but there are dozens of other tools, perhaps faster. Copy protection is likely to be a problem.

Here's a link to some freeware that might help you do what your wanting to do. Once you covert the dvd audio to mp3 audio you should be able to burn it to an audio cd.

Thanks guys! I'll take a look at the links tomorrow when I've got the day off and some free time to fool around.

It's very easy, forgot which free program i used, but it simply rips the audio portion from the dvd
