D. binata is a great plant! Give it lots of water, warmth, and most importantly strong light and it will soon become a small hedge. I like to grow mine in a hanging basket sitting 1/3 its depth in water. If SLOWLY acclimated, it performs well in lower humidity if given reasonable shelter.
