I finally got some dew!!

This is a D. adelae I rescued from lowes. I currently have it inside under 2 18" ZooMed tropic Sun flourescent Bulbs. Lights are about 4 inches above the plant. I finally got some dew on a new leaf:banana2::banana2::banana2::boogie:

I don't know about lighting, but the leaf could be smaller and redder.

It's probably just because it's a recent rescue, I guess.

nice! The first dew is always promising.

If you don't get pink/ red tentacles within 3 months (sometimes it can take a while to recover), then I'd consider moving it closer, but 4 inches sounds reasonable enough for me.

Patience!

I agree with CPlantaholic....
It takes time for plants to adjust to their environment.
Be patient...
the plant will let you know!

Good Luck! :water:

mine is about 2" from a not that good light and got some red dew, so im keeping it there for now.

Yeah I am very pleased so far. The new leaf seems half the length of the previous. That good I guess because of the lighting. there is already another new leaf unrolling
