mickey, personally, i would not find ways to force flower it...most likely, it is a response to warmer temperatures and a longer photoperiod after a cold winter season. if you want to encourage flowering, feed it heavily during the growing season, and it will flower during or on the next growing season. best of luck.
that should be easy the leaves are around 6" now and it is under t12 for the winter, and will get sun in summer and spring, and my house is around 65f during winter
