How many flower stalks is enough?

i checked my 'Miranda' this morning and lo and behold a THIRD flower spike is developing.................why couldnt it have been a female?

I counted twenty two flower spikes on our 'Miranda" plants when cleaning up after the hurricane. That's a lot of pollen.

Are only males this prolific with their spikes? Guess those males will spread their pollen anywhere, but how "easy" are the females?
