Highland and lowland, flowering together!

It's too quiet in here so I went out and snapped a couple pics. Today's subject is unlikely flowering nepenthes. What's odd is that I have a strict highland plant, and a strict lowland plant, within four feet of eachother, growing like gangbusters and flowering.

First, here's N. spectabilis. It's a male:

And over on the other shelf, N. viking is flowering (and growing like mad - my largest nepenthes from leaf tip to leaf tip!:

It also looks male to me.

Here's a pitcher from the viking - perhaps not the greatest one in cultivation by a long shot, but it's growing in highland conditions!:

And as a bonus pic, here's the biggest seedling from my first hybrid, N. (thorellii x aristolochioides) x truncata. It's two years old right about now:
