I should have done this a lot earlier...
anyway I should problably say something about my self
My name is Lance and I have been growing carnivores for 5 years ever since I was 9.
I have been trying to make a hybrid ever since I got my first pitcher.

These are the two sarracenia I have been trying to cross
They have just recently started putting out their first pitchers

Hopefully this year I can get late summer flowers (it has been cold) and make the hybrid!

gulfensis x minor is beautiful! I think that's a mitchelliana, not a swaniana.

Yay!
The parentage is Minor X Purpurea.
It will look very cool because of the size and color differences (long, tricolored and skinny) X (short purple and fat)

The size difference of the minor x purp is impressive, and kind of funny. The rubra x minor is very cool! If it has the giant gulfensis as a parent that thing will be huge!

Hopefully when I get back from my vacation they will have flower shoots.
I can't wait to see how the hybrid will look!
