help with baby filiformis

i have a very small filiformis seedling i planted last summer and it stopped growing and formed a little bud like it went dormant. im thinking it probably is dormant since they go dormant really soon, right? its been this way for about five weeks.

Yes, mine usually starts to go into hibernation in early September or maybe even late August. It just opened up this week. I wouldn't be surprised if I get a thread or two by next week.

its called a hibernaculum, mine have just started opening back up after their dormancy(since november). just think, you got one now, next time it goes dormant you could have 20, i do :)
