"HELP"- first timer

Hi,
I've brought a VTF about 2months ago and all the traps a black and now there is stems growing out of it like flower stems, is that normal? Also, how do i go about repotting? I have some acidic soil as well as peat moss, do i mix them in or what do I do with it?

Hi. I've moved this nto the flytrap forum.
Has the plant turned black all of a sudden or are just a couple of traps black? The flower stalk will be a tall green stem and you should cut it off as it can exhaust the plant. I don't think you need to worry about repotting, if it's ill it won't be a result of it being in bad soil.
