NASC auction is OPEN!!

Hello from Chicago!!

Hi there everybody! I'm very happy to find this forum out there and can't wait to become more evolved in it. I currently have a little setup with my old reef light.

So yesterday I planted some 80 different Venus fly traps

So today I received some more seeds and they were my sundews.

I got close to 100 seeds of them.

And I got close to 200-250 seeds of these guys.
Right now for my light is roughly 1 foot away from the seeds and I'm doing an experiment with trying to germinate them with 10k bulbs instead of 6500k.
Tell me what you think and if you see anything wrong with them.
Thanks Kameron

Welcome to TerraForums! You won't have to wait long to become more involved in the forums. ;)

And about your seeds. Stratifying your flytrap seeds wouldn't hurt, but you'd have to wait a few weeks. Most will germinate just fine without it. Try not to keep the bulbs too close to the seeds, or else they'll burn.

ahhh well I was told that I don't need to stratify them. I did soak them in water RO/DI water for 1 day until they all sank to the bottom of the dish.
