Growing Ceph in Los Angeles

Should I grow them outdoors or by the South windowsill? I live in Alhambra, CA.

In LA? Well, LA can get pretty hot and dry, so I think that you might be better of growing it on a windowsill......plus, you won't have to worry about someone stealing it.

Pingman (Peter) grows some of his outdoors in Orange County. They do well, even flowering. If were not for mealybugs I'd try mine outdoors.

I've grown them for years outdoors, but they seem do grow better in a terrarium for me.
