I've not noticed any problems.. I think it refreshes every 7 seconds.. or somewhere around that... What browser you using? firefox 2.0 works perfect.
 
I'm using IE (two different versions, one at home and one at the office) and I've noticed the same thing JLAP has... :)
 
FF version 2.0.0.14. I'm on a broadband connection. The page loads slowly when I refresh too. Only on TF does it load so slowly.
